Are your pieces food-safe?

Yes, we use food-safe grade resin for coasters and items that may come into contact with food or drink. These are safe for incidental contact once fully cured, but are not microwave or dishwasher safe.

How do I care for my resin piece?

Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and never place hot items directly on resin surfaces. Store away from radiators and heat sources. See our full Care & Materials guide for details.

How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn. Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted on the first use — this prevents tunnelling. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and always keep away from drafts, children, and pets. Extinguish safely using a snuffer rather than blowing out.

How long will my candle burn?

Burn time varies by size. As a general guide, our candles are designed to burn between 30–60 hours depending on the vessel and wax volume. Specific burn times are listed on each product page.

Can I request a custom piece?

How long does it take to make a piece?

Each piece is made in small batches. Resin pieces typically take 5–7 days to cure and finish before they are ready to ship. Custom orders may take longer — we'll give you a clear timeline when you enquire.

Do colours look exactly as shown?

We do our best to photograph each piece accurately, but screen colours can vary. Because every piece is hand-poured, there will always be natural variation — this is part of what makes each Veloura piece truly one-of-a-kind.

My order arrived damaged — what do I do?

We're so sorry to hear that. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damaged item and your order number. We'll make it right.
